1. Receive Project
After signing paperwork, the client sends the project brief to me for review. If the project is already under way, a detailed description of project history and desired direction will be extremely helpfull. If it is a new project Iwill need a project description, desired direction where to take the design. Any additional information about target market, target price, materials to be used, aesthetic direction, or any other pertanent details will be extremely usefull for the beginning of the project.

2. R&D
Research and Development of concept. If this step is not already done, I will create a presentation covering the findings of my research of the market, aesthetic themes, target market, competitor products/vehicles etc. This is an important step that will dictate where the design is taken and can ultimately dictate a product sucessfull or failure

3. Begin Sketching
Line SketchesUsed for ideation, surface and form development. These sketches are generally useful at the beginning of a project to efficiently put down many ideas rapidly. Many times these sketches are used as a base for sketches with value. (next page)If a client wants just line drawings, you may easily direct me to only do line drawings, thus generating more ideas in less time. This may be done with all aspects of my services (Only line drawings, or only renderings etc depending on your needs ... or combine them all to have a complete start to finish project)Sketches With ValueSketches with further surface development and visual description of the designed item(s). Generally used for early stages of a project and/or presentation. This provides a more clear understanding of the surfaces and volumes of the item(s) being designed.

4. Review Designs
If I am working remotely .PDF sketch packets will be sent to the client for review either via email or FTP. All sketches will be numbered and categorized acording to the concept and direction we have agreed to take the design. Video meetings can be done using skype. If I am working on site, design reviews will take place acording to your terms.

5. Finalize Design
After approval of a design direction, the design will be finalized and set in stone. This process can be time consuming, but takes all the ideas and problems and places it into a single design solution. After this step the design cannot be changed. Changes after this step will require a renegociation of terms.
2D to 3D Transition

6. 2D to 3D
ModelingThis is the first step in taking all the ideas on paper and making it a reality. The transition from 2 dimensional paper to a 3d object can be exhillerationg. I will work with your engineers to finish exterior surface modeling. If you do not have an enginner and require one, I will suggest one for the project. RenderingUpon final surfacing and engineering, models can be rendered on the computer that are photgraphically real. I am also capable of doing 3d animations (videos) of the model/designed items prior to the existance of any phisical parts.

7. Physical Model
After the 3d model is done, physical models and sample can be created, either as a study model or prototype. Beyond this model further refinments can be made (if necisary) for production ready items. Materials for modeling are virtually unlimited. Clay, metal, plastics, RP, rubber etc. The materials used can be dictated by the client or suggested by myself.
